Chamber to host Military
Appreciation Luncheon
By Tony Roberts
The Harford County
Chamber of Commerce
will host its 47th annual
Military Appreciation
Luncheon on May 16 at Top
of the Bay, a restaurant and
conference center at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
The business community will gather starting
at 11 a.m. to recognize the
service of men and women
in the military. Each year,
the event recognizes Gold
Star mothers and spouses,
the soldier and non-commissioned officer of the
year, a FreeState Challenge Academy scholarship
recipient, and the successes
and sacrifices of our military community.
“This long-standing
tradition brings the business community together
with the military community in celebration of our
