Youth Performances
AXIS Dance offers mind-opening performances and
dance workshops for grades K-12. These programs
showcase innovative, contemporary choreography
and emphasize collaboration among disabled, nondisabled and neurodiverse people.
For 2025, AXIS is working towards a professional
theater-hosted model for our Youth Engagement
Performances vs. in-school assemblies. Stay tuned
for updates coming this fall for how your school can
participate next year.

Teacher Trainings
Dance educators are given tools to create an
equitable, accessible and creative environment in their
classroom or organization. Workshops and in-depth
trainings include participatory exercises and activities
for use in classrooms, as well as discussion about
disability, language, and the development of AXIS’
extraordinary inclusive community education program.

Community Classes
AXIS classes are open to disabled, non-disabled and/
or neurodiverse dancers, with many classes open to all
levels of experience.
The 2024 remaining dates for our AXIS in Motion class
series are: September 20 via Zoom, October 25 inperson, and November 15 in-person.
All days are 10-11am PT.
AXIS in Motion classes are sponsored by the CA Arts
Council and are free to participants.
