There are many people who go above and beyond to make AXIS
Dance Company what it is and help us put on a great production.
A profound thank you to all the AXIS family - dancers, staff, Board of
Directors, production team, our families and our communities for your
continuous support of AXIS. Your dedication and enthusiasm have
been the driving force behind our success and have allowed us to
continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible in dance.
We would like to extend our gratitude to our longtime production
manager Walter Holden, who beautifully brings our performances to
life in the theater. Our stunning artistic collaborators and our entire
production crew of ushers, volunteers, and backstage helpers.
Berkeley Ballet Theater and Post:ballet for welcoming us into their
community, and sharing their studios and office space with us. We
are deeply grateful for your continued support and the opportunity to
finally perform together!
Accessibility is core to all we do. We work closely with many in our
community to provide access during the creation of new work and
our Home Season performances, along with our classes, workshops,
and outreach activities. We would like to thank our accessibility
consultants and collaborators: Gravity Access, Alisa Rasera (audio
description), Debby Kajiyama, Cat Ridley & Bay Area Communication
Access (ASL interpreters), Zahna Simon (ASL consultation) and
Tiffany Taylor (Blind/Low Vision Consultation).
To David DeSilva for his ongoing commitment to photographing
stunning images of AXIS. Natasha Adorlee and her team for beautiful
photographs and videos of our dancers in rehearsal. Additional

Lastly, AXIS gratefully honors its Founders: Judith Smith,
Thais Mazur, and Bonnie Lewkowicz, and its previous Artistic
