We explored scenarios and best practices that led to better frontline recruitment and
retention outcomes. General employee engagement and work flexibility emerged as
most effective, followed by investments in pay equity, developing inclusive leaders,
and recruitment. The flexibility finding aligns with findings from Gartner9s Frontline
Worker Experience Reinvented Survey, where frontline leaders said flexibility was
their most effective retention investment and a top three recruitment investment.*
