Welcome to the Year of the Dragon
The Year of the Dragon has arrived in Eden School! Chinese
New Year celebrations have doubled in happiness and joy as we
commemorated the occasion at both Eden School and Eden School
(Campus 2).
Our students and staff enjoyed the simple but meaningful Chinese
New Year celebrations. May the Year of the Dragon fill us with an
abundance of smiles and laughter!
This year, we were fortunate to receive generous gifts (sponsored
by Trailblazer – Chan Chiew Ping Fund, Mandai Wildlife Group and
Old Chang Kee) and oranges from Ms Ho Ching and our school bus
vendor, Ric Tat Transport. Additionally, we were blessed with the
assistance of students and teachers from the National Junior College
(NJC), who kindly helped us pack the treats for staff and students.
At Campus 2, students and staff were also treated to a delightful
performance by members of the NJC String Orchestra, playing
songs such as “Rasa Sayang” and 贺新年(hè xīn nián).
Both schools were blessed by our friendly God of Fortune, who
took photos and wished our students well, along with distributing
chocolate coins!
In addition to receiving blessings, our students also extended
blessings to others in our neighbourhood. They visited stall holders
to give oranges and bestow well wishes upon them, as well as making
our presence known to them.
