Raffles Hotel Brings Joy to Our Clients Through Art
One of our most dedicated supporters, Raffles Hotel Singapore,
continues to bring joy to our clients with thoughtful gifts during
festive seasons. Over the years, they have delighted us with
mooncakes, Christmas log cakes, and Chinese New Year cookies.
For their latest initiative, instead of taking our clients on another
outing, Raffles Hotel arranged for an Arts and Craft teacher to visit
the centre for two sessions of tile-painting activity.
In each session, 8 clients and 8 volunteers, paired in twos, tapped
into their creativity. Under the teacher’s guidance, they painted
beautiful tiles that will become coasters for home use. There was a
lot of interaction between volunteers and clients: “What color do
you want?” “Where should we paint this?” “Do you like it?” Some
volunteers were amazed by the clients’ attention to detail.
Between sessions, everyone enjoyed a McDonald’s meal, always a
highlight for our clients, who love fast food.
On behalf of our clients and staff, we sincerely thank Raffles
Hotel for supporting us all these years. We truly appreciate every
volunteer for working patiently with our clients and giving their
best. Your kindness and dedication mean the world to us!
