Exploring and Developing Leisure Skills through CCA
Co-Curricular
Activities
(CCA)
Overview
Eden School’s Co-Curricular Activities
(CCA) programme is dedicated to
uncovering students’ interests and
developing their leisure skills. This year, with
the integration of CCA sessions into the
curriculum time, we have seen a significant
increase in student participation. We are
thrilled to announce that our CCA activities
have officially commenced, promising a
fun and adventurous learning journey for
everyone involved!
Rolling Good Times at Eden School
Our CCA programme follows a rotational
schedule each semester, allowing junior
students to be exposed to various activities
and discover their passions. Alongside
acquiring exploratory and beginner skills,
students are taught routines, social rules,
and expectations associated with each
activity. This comprehensive approach
enables students to discover various
interests that will be further developed in
their senior years.
This movement injects a vibrant and
dynamic energy across the campus, making
Fridays a day of exploration and excitement.

Jalan Jalan @ Kallang
It was a rainy morning on Friday, 21 June,
but that did not dampen the spirits of our
staff from the Family and Life Services as
we prepared to embark on our journey
through the Kallang Riverside Park. We
started the day early at 8.30am as chartered
buses picked up Eden families at three pickup points: Eden School, Eden Centre for
Adults (Clementi), and Eden Centre for
Adults (Hougang).
We took in the picturesque riverside views
of the park and the serene surroundings as
we strolled along the route. The volunteers
and staff had a great time interacting
with clients and families during the walk.
The route took us along the Kallang Park
connector, through Kallang Riverside Park,
and following the path to end near the
OCBC Aquatic Centre.
At the end point, participants took a rest
and had some delicious light refreshments.
After which, it was time for games! We
adjourned to a sheltered empty space on
the upper floor for the activities.

At 11.45am, it was time for the event to
come to an end. Filled with joy and happy
memories, we boarded the chartered
buses back to the various centres. We
were grateful for the opportunity to
organise an enjoyable event for our clients
and families, and our heartfelt gratitude to
volunteers from Micron Technology for the
unwavering and valuable support towards
our clients and families.
It’s your turn now – participants having a
good laugh during the games.
Autism Links
Friendly volunteers from Micron Technology
joined us at Blk 8B Upper Boon Keng Road,
the starting point of the walk. Miraculously,
the sky cleared as we began our walk!
With the help of the volunteers, our
participants had a roaring good time
participating in the games.
