A Trip to the Sea Aquarium with Hewlett Packard
On 30 May, a team from Hewlett Packard arrived at the Eden
Centre for Adults (Hougang) for their very first collaboration
with an organisation serving individuals with autism. Ms Lena from
Hewlett Packard shared her reflections, stating, “We learned
so much today, and the occasion has taught us to love and care
unconditionally.”
We are immensely grateful to the Hewlett Packard team for making
this trip to the Sea Aquarium such a memorable and enriching
experience for our clients. Your dedication and care have left a
lasting impact on everyone involved.
Although our clients had visited the Sea Aquarium before, the
presence and support of Hewlett Packard volunteers made this
visit particularly special. The volunteers actively engaged with the
clients, guiding them through the exhibits and explaining the various
marine species. They even used their phones to teach the clients
how to take photos of the fish and jellyfish, adding an interactive
element to the experience.
Curiously checking in on the lab that propagate Jelly fishes.
A highlight of the visit was peeking into the lab where Sea Aquarium
staff propagate jellyfish. It was the first time our clients had
witnessed such a process, and they were so fascinated that they
needed gentle reminders to move on as lunchtime approached.
