Flu Vaccination Exercise for Adult Centres
On 10 November and 15 December, the Eden Centre for Adults
(Hougang and Clementi) collaborated with Mount Alvernia
Hospital to conduct flu vaccination exercises at both adult centres.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic, our healthcare initiatives for clients
were temporarily halted. Therefore, it was crucial for us to
prioritise the flu vaccination to safeguard the health and safety of
our beneficiaries.
The Mount Alvernia team, comprised of a nurse, admin
personnel, and a doctor, demonstrated exceptional kindness and
accommodation throughout the vaccination process. They ensured
that our clients had ample time for the vaccines and showed
patience in addressing any signs of anxiety.
In total, 45 clients from both centres received vaccinations, with
parents and caregivers also supporting them in the exercise.

The Eden Centre for Adults extends its gratitude to Mount Alvernia
and its staff for their invaluable contribution to our clients’ health
initiatives. We look forward to continuing such initiatives for our
adult clients in the future.
