HiPOx is our proven high-performance
advanced oxidation process (AOP) system
in a small footprint that destroys difficult-todegrade trace organics and EDCs and
disinfects without creating residual waste.
The patented HiPOx process, its innovative
multi-oxidant injection ports, and its custom
mixing techniques utilize either ozone alone
or hydrogen peroxide with ozone to
efficiently generate hydroxyl radicals (OH·)
- one of the strongest oxidizing agents
available in the industry - that destroy
organic compounds. And when needed,
the HiPOx process can also control the
formation of bromate, an unwanted byproduct of ozonation.
Commercial HiPOx systems range in size
from 5 GPM (27 m3/day) to 21,000 GPM
(114,000 m3/day) and come in
containerized, skid-mounted, and custom
configurations. In its many forms, HiPOx
has treated the most challenging waters
at over 100 commercial sites worldwide.
