By the time all this was
done it was getting on for
half six and if I’m honest the
fish activity had stopped. I

s h itty and got round the r e a
b i t lively. I wasted no tim e i n
g e tting the leading ro d o u t to
f i n d some spots, and qui c k l y
f o und a gravel patch fi t f o r
t w o rods out in front o f m e a t
