IN TRIBUTE:
PHILANTHROPIST AND
FOUNDATION SUPPORTER
MARGARET NEWALL
This year we sadly marked
the passing of Margaret
Newall (July 8, 2023), a tireless advocate for
gender justice who supported the Foundation
for almost 20 years.
Margaret co-founded organizations that
supported research on family violence
and went on to earn multiple honorary
degrees and awards for her advocacy and
philanthropy.
“We considered Margaret a part of our family
at the Foundation,” says Paulette Senior,
Foundation President and CEO. “We will miss
her dearly, but we are comforted knowing the
impact she has made in the lives of countless
many will last lifetimes.”

served April 1, 2022-March 31, 2023.
