Dr Sarah Whitelaw is an emergency medicine physician
and medical specialist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital,
Victorian Doctors Health Program board member, chair
of the AMA Equity, Inclusion and Diversity Committee
and Emergency Medicine Craft Group representative
to the AMA Federal Council. Sarah is a member of the
Australian Women in Healthcare Leadership project’s
Steering Committee, represents the Federal AMA on
the project, and is an honorary clinical senior lecturer
at the University of Melbourne. Having worked in
multiple geographically and culturally diverse EDs
under different administrative health systems.
Sarah has a strong interest and background in
trauma care, medical education, medico-politics
and quality improvement.
