Sustainability
1. Carbon Reduction
This entails promoting clean energy, reducing waste, and minimising
our carbon footprint. As we strive for a cleaner world, we must shift
towards renewable energy sources like wind, solar, and hydroelectric
power. Also, encouraging practices like recycling, composting, and
conserving water can signi昀椀cantly reduce environmental pollution.
Ultimately, a clean earth is the foundation of sustainability, and it’s up
to each one of us to make this a reality.
Allpack actively works to reduce the carbon footprints of its clients,
stakeholders and partners through Carbon Reporting and Offsetting
measures, that identify where clients can reduce or combine their
packaging items or deliveries, as well as incorporating third-party
certi昀椀cations and accreditations, FSC® that prove our commitment to
maximising our resources.
2. Community
The second “C” stands for ‘Community’. Sustainability is not a solo
endeavour; it necessitates collective action. A resilient, sustainable
community promotes shared values, inclusivity, and mutual support.
By working together, communities can create local solutions to
global challenges like climate change, food insecurity, and social
inequality. Whether through community gardens, co-housing projects,
or local sustainability initiatives, the power of community cannot be
underestimated in our journey towards creating a sustainable future.
Allpack works with community organisations and industry peers to
develop plans and strategies to assist in the delivery and distribution of
food through charity-giving initiatives and supporting nationwide relief
efforts.
