Liturgical Dance
The Liturgical Dance Ministry serves as an integral part of the Performing Arts Ministry and
is instrumental in interpreting the Word through movement with a focus on praise and
worship, warfare, deliverance, edification, and healing. This ministry strives to equip men,
women and children with the knowledge and understanding of God’s purpose for dance in
the worship experience as they fulfill the Lord’s Great Commission using dance as their tool.
Marriage
The purpose of the Alfred Street Baptist Church Marriage Ministry is to enrich the lives
of couples and those engaged to be married to bring them to a closer and more intimate
relationship with God and their spouse through biblical education, workshops, retreats,
conferences, seminars, and recreational activities.
Media/AV
The Media/AV Ministry documents all worship services and special programs through
video and audio tape reproductions for archiving and distribution.
Men
The purpose of the Men’s mission is to fellowship and unite the men of the church to serve
as positive role models in the community, especially for potentially wayward youth.
Military
The Military Ministry provides opportunities for military members, veterans, or civilians
to serve deployed soldiers and their families. We provide service to the local military
community of veterans, and provide opportunities for fellowship.
Music & Worship Arts
The Music Ministry is made up of eight distinct choirs for the purpose of providing a
ministry for all worship services of the church and other services outside of the physical
boundaries of the church, as needed.

Nursery
The nursery serves children ages 18 months to 4 years of age, providing them with
activities and experiences based on Christian teachings during the all worship services and
by special request by certain ministries.
