communication opportunities improved the sense of trust and played a prominent role in the
development of the quality of life. The results indicated that WTP reduced repetitive movements,
stress reactions, challenging behaviors, and improved communication skills. In addition, changing
roles, positions, and transitions in WATSU training increased the participant's resiliency in his life
with more comfort. Finally, tactile-emotional quality aff erents, warmth, and buoyancy of the water,
altered and enriched proprioceptive and vestibular input, being safely cradled in the arms instructor
were likely to be the other factors improving the underperforming areas including communication,
repetitive movements, stress reactions and challenging behaviors.

Teaching and coaching are two different occupational roles and the responsibilities of teachers and
sports coaches can be distinguished from each other. The aim of this study was to investigate the
relationship between the role of teacher-coach in sports and self-efficacy with the mediating role
of sports goal orientation. This study used descriptive-correlational research. The appropriateness
of the measurement model was tested by confirmatory factor analysis. Research data were obtained
from 36 physical education teachers through a questionnaire. For data analysis, statistical methods
of correlation test and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS-22 and AMOS software were
used. The conflict between the roles of sports teacher-coach with the presence of the mediating
variable of sports goal orientation indicated a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy. Sports
goal orientation also had a positive and direct effect on self-efficacy. The results of the present
study displayed a comprehensive view. Accordingly, physical education teachers who have an
intermediate role (teacher-centered and coach-centered) showed high self-efficacy and goaloriented sports. The findings of this study suggested valuable information to improve the quality
of learning and teaching for sport coaches and physical education teachers.

Background of study: The inappropriate usage of terms and concepts and/or unclear definitions
provided in the scientific literature hinder progress in any scientific field. This risk is especially
noticeable in applied fields of research such as sports science and physical education. Objective:
This study explored existing literature that uses the term “motor performance skills” and aimed to
propose a comprehensive definition to be applied in future research. Method: Following an adapted
scoping approach grounded in the rapid review model, we searched electronic databases PubMed/Medline, Web of Science, and Scopus until February 2022. The primary demographic focus
was sports science and physical education disciplines. After screening of titles and abstract, 184
papers were identified for a full review. Twenty-two papers met the inclusion criteria from the full
review and received qualitative content analysis. The qualitative content analysis focused on the
elaborated qualities of the term motor performance skill. Coding was used to identify and extract
