the Assessment and Evaluation Policy in Improving the Educational Process for Students. Journal
of Arts, Literature, Humanities and Social Sciences, 98,183-198.
The educational assessment is one of the main tasks carried out by the teacher during the education
process, and it is used in different contexts and for a variety of goals, especially to make appropriate
decisions related to the applied educational policies, curricula and educational programs in addition
to students and academic achievement, where the results of evaluation, especially modern

to the results obtained from this process, and modern methods of evaluation or the so-called
alternative assessment focused on several tools such as activities, observation, achievement file and
assignments, which are an alternative to traditional methods that focus on tests or the so-called
paper and pen, and this change in evaluation and evaluation methods is based on the modern
philosophy of evaluation that appeared in the late last century and aims to develop the educational

useful and meaningful skills through self-learning, projects and other modern tools and methods
that serve the needs of modern century.
