STONEWARE
Stoneware is a robust material fired at high temperatures. The higher the temperatures, the
stronger it becomes, and our stoneware is fired at very high temperatures exceeding 1200°C.
As long as you follow certain precautions, our stoneware is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and
freezer safe. However, you should never place ordinary stoneware into a preheated oven or
set hot stoneware directly onto a cold surface. Large temperature differences may cause the
stoneware to crack or break. It should always be heated up gradually and cooled down slowly.
Our stoneware is handcrafted and features a scratch-resistant glaze. However, if your stoneware
shows signs of use, such as utensil marks or small scratches, don’t worry. This is entirely normal
and can usually be removed with marble powder – always follow the instructions for use.
TEAK
Teak wood is an extremely durable material, and the hard wood is nearly impossible to
wear out if treated properly. Never place a cutting board or other teak wood products in
the dishwasher. Instead, wash them by hand, dry them thoroughly, and allow them to air dry
completely before putting them away. To prevent the wood from drying out, it should be
regularly treated with oil. Always choose an oil that is suitable and approved for contact with
food. Unpleasant odours can be easily removed by sprinkling a tablespoon of coarse salt over
the cutting board, rubbing it with half a lemon, and then rinsing it clean.
THERMO BOTTLES
Our thermo bottles are suitable for hand washing only. Do not use bleach or chlorine-based
cleaning, and ensure the bottle is thoroughly dried before storing. Do not leave the bottle
submerged in water for extended periods. The thermal bottles must not be placed in the
microwave and are not suitable for carbonated beverages. Before use, all parts should be washed
in warm, soapy water, rinsed, and thoroughly dried. Recommended for hot or cold beverages.
