Conferences and events
Since its inception, AHURI has convened a range of public forums and events to connect the
evidence-base with policy makers and professionals and stimulate professional and public dialogue
on major housing and urban policy issues.
Underpinning this conference and events program is the
biennial National Housing Conference (NHC), convened by
AHURI in partnership with a host state or territory housing
authority every two years. The NHC plays an important
role in guiding dialogue on, and developing solutions to,
housing issues of national priority.
It is recognised as a vital opportunity to share, debate,
celebrate and promote ideas in housing. The conference is
the largest cross-sector gathering of its kind in Australasia.
