the 2025 UK awards, an impressive spread across
the professions and specialties and across all
four countries. Thank you to our sponsors and
supporters who make it all possible, as we build up
to the judging day and the ceremony itself. We also
bring you up to date with the Awards in Wales and
Northern Ireland.

For this, the 20th anniversary of the Advancing
Healthcare Awards UK, we aimed to extend and
revitalise the programme to keep pace with
developments in the AHPs and healthcare science
world.
We don’t yet have our winners, but we have an
impressive shortlist which captures so much
partnership working, innovative practice and
service-user involvement from throughout the UK.
See pages 3, 4 and 5 for the shortlist.
So how is it different this year?
• The creative therapies have a strong presence in
several categories. We have an art therapist and
a music therapist among our Rising Stars; an art
therapist involved in a Scottish collaboration
supporting pre-birth communication, and an
art therapist in a project for rough sleepers and
mental health.
