Outcomes and opportunities
75%of people reported outcomes and improvement
in their wellbeing in the area of relationships. Some
examples of these outcomes are:

interests and topics of conversation with others.

from difficulties with relationships.

This is not the same as a lack of social opportunity
as several of these individuals are busy and have
multiple activities that involve social elements
weekly. The individuals who highlighted this talked
about a lack of real meaningful friendship in their
lives and a dependence on paid support workers to
fill this need.
Many of these individuals have substantial challenges
with forming and maintaining relationships, past
trauma and rejection sensitivity, and view themselves
as having low social worth to others. This domain is
particularly relevant to Direct Self Harm. Loneliness
will be a key focus in 2024-2025.
