UNLOCKING CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND
LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
At Accupac, we want our employees to meet their full potential. During the 昀椀rst week of work,
employees participate in a series of training courses that cover the history of the company,
safety, quality, and more. They also complete formal classroom training, online training, and onthe-job training to support onboarding. Department and role-speci昀椀c development programs
then provide additional professional growth opportunities.
Our philosophy and approach are outlined in the Career Management section of our
Employee Handbook.
RETENTION AND DEVELOPMENT

Career Management Policy: shares our commitment to hiring and developing employees

Skill Level Program: Our skill level programs provide a clear roadmap for skill achievement
and promotional opportunities for hourly roles.

Front Line Leader Program: New in 2023, our Front-Line Leader Program tooled supervisors
with new skills to e昀昀ectively lead teams on our manufacturing 昀氀oor.

English as a Second Language Course: Forty-six percent of our employees speak a
language other than English as their primary language. Recognizing the interest among
employees in enhancing their English pro昀椀ciency, we introduced an English as a Second
Language (ESL) course in 2023. Sixteen employees participated in our inaugural ESL class.
The onsite English immersion course covers writing, reading, speaking, and comprehending
English, and is provided during the workday, allowing for attendance on company time.
Encouraged by the positive response of our inaugural course, Accupac is expanding the
ESL initiative in 2024 with additional courses.

Mentoring Program: Beginning with a formal orientation, this program pairs mentees
with members of the Accupac Executive Leadership Team. Over several months, mentormentee pairs engage in meaningful discussions and activities tailored to address the
speci昀椀c developmental needs of each mentee.

Continuous Improvement Education: A core value of Accupac is continuous improvement.
Five employees attended the formal LEAN Continuous Improvement certi昀椀cation course
and achieved LEAN certi昀椀cation. They also attended 12 continuous improvement events
and a continuous improvement class hosted by the Chief Operations O昀케cer.

Leadership Foundations Program: The curriculum of Accupac’s Leadership Foundations
Program covers a wide range of topics essential for e昀昀ective leadership, including
understanding one’s role as a supervisor, communication styles, con昀氀ict resolution,
coaching and feedback techniques, delegation strategies, and time management skills.
By investing in the development of our leaders at all levels, Accupac aims to foster a
culture of continuous learning, growth, and excellence.
