LETTER FROM THE CEO
Dear Accupac Stakeholders,
As we celebrate our company’s 50th birthday, I am delighted to re昀氀ect on the
incredible journey we’ve undertaken together. In 2023, Accupac took bold strides
towards sustainability, laying a foundation for positive change. We began with
a materiality assessment, to identify areas where our actions could make the
most signi昀椀cant impact across our pillars of People, Planet, and Performance.
This process helped shape our vision for the future.
Setting ambitious targets across environmental, social, and governance (ESG)
issues became the cornerstone of our commitment. These goals serve as a
guide, steering us toward a more sustainable and responsible future. We take
our commitment seriously, understanding that our actions echo not only within
the walls of our company but resonate deeply with our customers, consumers,
employees, and partners.
As we release our inaugural Sustainability Report for 2023, it not only showcases
our sustainability e昀昀orts but also introduces our targets and plans. We have joined
the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and committed to the Paradigm
for Parity. These actions complement our alignment with the United Nations Global
Compact and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Looking ahead, our 2030 sustainability goals paint a vivid picture of our aspirations.
From enhancing employee safety and engagement to championing ethics,
diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), we are setting the bar high. Our commitment to
reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, improving energy and water e昀케ciency,
promoting sustainable production, and minimizing waste underscores our pledge
to a more sustainable future.
On our 50th birthday, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each of you
who has played a role in shaping our company’s legacy. Our path to achieve
our 2030 goals is that of a systematic and continuous improvement. Your hard
work, dedication, and resilience have brought us to this momentous occasion.
Here’s to the next 50 years of innovation, sustainability, and continued success.
