BUILDING SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURING
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Accupac is committed to continuously improving operations.
Accupac’s Director of Continuous Improvement and team of
process engineers work with manufacturing leadership to ensure a
rigorous continuous improvement process and tracking of projects
across the enterprise.
In 2023, Accupac completed a full review of waste management
e昀昀orts and drafted a plan to increase land昀椀ll diversion rates. We
identi昀椀ed additional opportunities to enhance recycling. Recycling
initiatives increase the lifespan of materials, resulting in reduced
GHG emissions and cost savings.
AUTOMATION
To enhance our safety, product quality, and efficiency,
we implemented new automation equipment. Equipment
enhancements include a robotic pick and place, new labelers,
robotic palletizer, and vision systems. These upgrades position us
favorably to continue to thrive as a company while demonstrating
our commitment to improvement.
PRODUCT END-OF-LIFE
At Accupac, we make products that make a di昀昀erence in the way
people look and feel. We understand that the use and disposal
of our products can impact our environment. We are working to
minimize that impact by evaluating and assessing our products,
implementing sustainable practices on 50% of new product
developments, and encouraging sustainable consumption habits.
