MANAGING WATER RESPONSIBLY
Water is critical to our business. Because water is critical to our operations, Accupac is committed
to increasing water e昀케ciency in operations by 10% per unit of production by 2030. In 2023,
Accupac demonstrated great strides in water e昀케ciency. We reduced our total water withdrawal
by 23% from 2022 to 2023. We will continue monitoring the amount of water withdrawn and
determine if we need to update our target.

In 2023, Accupac conducted a water risk analysis utilizing physical risk data from the World
Resources Institute (WRI) Water Risk Atlas combined with basin and operational risk data from
the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Water Risk Filter. The assessment covered physical, regulatory,
and reputational risks associated with our facility locations and operations. Through this analysis,
we identi昀椀ed opportunities to reduce water ine昀케ciencies and address anticipated water stress
in our operational regions. Additionally, the analysis highlighted improvement areas within our
water tracking management system.
To communicate our water-use and reduction e昀昀orts to stakeholders, Accupac participates
in CDP’s annual Water Security assessment. This process maintains water as a high priority for
us and guides us to strategically assess our management approach to water-related topics.
WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT
In 2022, Accupac initiated a project to upgrade
the wastewater management system at our
Mainland, PA, facility. The project aims to
improve the e昀昀ectiveness of the system and
reduce the need to haul wastewater o昀昀site.
The investment will bolster water conservation
and management, saving costs by increasing
the effectiveness of waste and water
separation. Accupac’s goal is to complete
the wastewater management upgrade in
2024. Water management will continue to
be a focus point in Accupac’s sustainable
operations e昀昀orts.
