Applicstion for a school by the Lke
Albert Road 1Dr.ogress Association.
I am forwarding the results of a survey mady by the Hon.
Secretary of the Lake Albert Road Progress Association, Mr', K.J.
Symes, on the numbers of children available for a school in the
Henwood Pard Area.
Total nuiber on list supplied is 95; of these 25
children are Roman Catholic and as such would be unlikely to attend
a public school. Of these 95, 52 are under school age and would
not be requiring facilities irnrriediately.
It is recommended that i1r. *'ue-s be informed that it i.e
not proposed to establish a school in that Area at present as
numbers are not sufficient to warrant such a school, but tiat as
soon as sufficient numbers of children are available, further
consideration will be given. In the meantime, arrangements will
be made with Mr. Barklem to pick up all eligible children and
convey them to the Wagga schools. Im? 441-0~1
