Your letter of the 14th instant is to hand and the
contents noted.
We wish to advise that :Ir. Drury died on the 3rd April,
1962, and it is the intention of the Executrix in his Estate
to hlve all assets of the Deceased sold immediately Probate has
been gr_anted. The Empire Theatre forms part of these assets and
accordingly as soon as practical such theatre will be sold.
However, we understand that both the theatre and the
Empire Dance Pavilion have not been used for some time nnd
we are advised by the Executrix that it is her intention not
to use same. In view of this, we feel thqt the application
lodged by the Deceased prior to his denth should not continue and
we would be grateful if nothing further be done in relation
to E7ame.
