It would be appreciated if a further report could be furnished
indicating' whether anything has transpired in relation to the abovenamed
premises.
In a communication dated 17th October, 1962, addressed to Mr.
S.H. Peake, Public Officer, Ozone Theatres Broken Hill Pty. Ltd., 353
Glen Osmond Road, Glen Osmond, South Australia, it was stated that the
remaining northern wall of the enclosed portion of the theatre was a
constant danger to public safety and l in the event of strong prevailing
destrians

I have to report that early in 1963, the remaining
portion of the "Ozone" Theatre building was completely demolished and
the debris cleared therefrom. The Broken Hill City Council now have
a lease from the Western Lands Commission of the block where the
building was originally erected.
