MEMO: Kindly cause the information asked for in the subj oined form to be furnished with as little delay
as practicable. The licensee might at the same time be reminded by the Officer in Charge of
Police that the existing licence will expire on the above date; and that, as prescribed by Regulation 4, application and fee for renewal of licence should be remitted to this Department at least 14
days before the expiration of the above date.
An immediate report should be furnished in the event of the hall being used in contravention
of the Act. Please hand attached form to licensee.

so, are they kept alight during all public
entertainments and public meetings?
8a Is there adequate "panic" lighting to ensure easy
exit in the event of failure of the main lighting system? Panic lighting should be tested
at night when all other lighting has been
extinguished and any deficiencies should be
reported. Panic lighting is separate from the
exit lights.
