My Mama’s Banana Puddin’
Dennis Bailey
Banana puddin' is great because it has
bananas and pudding, two of the best things.
I like it so much, I ask for it every year for my
birthday. This recipe makes a ton, so be ready
to share!

Instructions
• First, make whipped cream. Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer with a whisk attachment, whip the heavy
cream, sugar, and vanilla extract on medium-high speed until medium peaks form, about 3-4 minutes.
Refrigerate while you prepare the pudding.
• In a large bowl combine the milk and pudding mix using an electric mixer, about 5 minutes until it starts to
get thick.
• In another large bowl combine the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk with the mixer until
smooth.
• Fold ½ of the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
• Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended.
• To assemble the pudding, you can use any dish, pan, or bowl of your choice. Start with a layer of cookies,
then add a layer of bananas, then pour in some pudding, and top with a thin layer of whipped cream. Repeat
until you’ve used up all your pudding and then top with crushed cookies. We use a large tri e bowl and have
about 4 layers.
