Stress Less Property Walkthrough - Kitty Hawk, N.C.
FAQ'S
Many things at Stress Less are setup so you can
have a worry-free vacation. Still every once and a
while some questions come up so here are a
few of the most common we encounter.
Our outside pool deck has a couple nice
features, one of them being the heated pool. If
you booked your vacation with the heater
option, you will see an Inkbird Wireless Pool
Thermometer floating in the saltwater pool as
well as a remote digital gauge in the home. The
pool water temperatures typically run between
78 and 82 degrees. Any cooler than 78 and you
will feel chilled when you exit the pool. Any
warmer than 82 and the pool will feel like bath
water and may cause algae blooms.
The hot tub is typically kept around 102-104
degrees but can be manually adjusted during
your rental. We normally recommend not
changing the temperature too much as it may
shorten the time you should stay in it.
If you’re using the fire pit, we have installed Ring
lighting to help navigate and safely operate the
starter in low light. Also, the firepit will not
operate without turning the timer on to allow
the gas to flow to it.
One of the more common issues we hear about
would be small bugs that come out at night. We
setup two DynaTrap systems to attract and
prevent these unwanted critters from bothering
you on the trip. The units are quiet so keep them
running the entire time.
The final item we get questions on are the beeps
as you open and close doors or windows. We
have safeguards in place for the many families
with small children. Anytime a door is opened
you will hear a low double beep. The alarm
system in the house is typically disarmed during
the rental season, but the notifications remain
active in case the little ones get out.
