Goal 4 3 Strengthen ties with the City of Williamsburg, Colonial
Williamsburg Foundation, Jamestown Yorktown Foundation,
Visit Williamsburg, WJCC Schools, and other key
stakeholders
A. Increase/broaden participation in church tours, bell ringing, and
viewing of artifacts.
B. Secure and safeguard our strong position in CW historical
presentations and the African American Heritage Trail.
C. Extend outreach to private as well as public schools through the
Greater Williamsburg tri-county region.
Goal 5 3 Advance wide-ranging educational programs and
initiatives
A. Expand current scholarship programs for high school seniors and
college graduates.
B. Strengthen internship program with William & Mary, HBCUs and other
academic institutions.
C. Develop additional workshops (e.g., African American History
Classes, and CW Summer Teachers’ Institute).
