Sand Cast Lead Conservation Limited are one of the leading manufacturers of Sand Cast
Lead to include rainwater & ornamental bespoke pieces.
We mainly aim to recycle our customers scrap lead and
recast this into the new lead. This is a fantastic option to
retain the history and heritage of a building whilst also
reducing environmental impacts.
For projects the size of Kings Chapel we would arrange
collection of the scrap material and once received this
would be processed in our foundry by melting down into
ingot form. The ingots would then be stored until they
are needed for the next stage of the casting process for
that project.
We are extremely proud and excited to have secured a
contract this year for the supply of sand cast lead to Notre
Dame in Paris, the lead for this prestigious project also has
be a guaranteed purity of 99.9% lead which we are able
to achieve and provide. This is in addition to other ongoing projects being supplied such as Woburn Abbey &
Kings Chapel in Cambridge which is a project requiring
120,000kg of lead. Kings Chapel is one of the many projects that are using the old scrap lead removed and having
it recast into the new lead.
Our experienced craftsmen install our lead, rainwater
goods and bespoke ornamental & decorative pieces all
over the U.K.
