Annex 1
How did this financial product account for the principal adverse impacts on sustainability factors?
As far as possible, the product took account of the principal adverse impacts on sustainability factors. Account for the
adverse impacts was through the due diligence process, which is a thorough examination that ensured that all
investments that are part of the product are made in accordance with Industriens Pension's policy on responsible
investment and active ownership. The due diligence process prior to any investment aims at identifying, preventing,
mitigating and accounting for the potential and actual adverse sustainability impacts on society and/or the environment.
The policy on responsible investment and active ownership follows current legislation and sanctions to which Denmark
has acceded and builds on the UN Global Compact and the Paris Agreement. Furthermore, we follow the OECD
Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct and the OECD Responsible business conduct
for institutional investors, as well as the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI).
Reporting of the portfolio's principal adverse impacts on sustainability factors (PAIs) takes place at least once a year and
can be found on Industriens Pension's website under sustainability-related information. Selected indicators are also stated
in this Annex.
