Providing a better
worldwide experience
A welcome donation
BCHS Settlement Services staff member Bwe Ku Say
recently returned to the Ban Mae Surin Refugee Camp
in Thailand where he grew up.
Bwe Ku sponsored a local sports tournament and made
some much-appreciated donations while he was there.
On behalf of BCHS, Bwe Ku distributed socks, scarves
and even excess medical supplies from Bendigo.
Pictured above are refugees in the camp’s makeshift
medical centre receiving the donations. There are many
Karen refugees awaiting visas to re-settle in Bendigo
and live free from persecution and violence.
