CHILSTONE:
PRESERVING
OUR HERITAGE
Chilstone’s handmade cast stone can recreate a sense of
history for those who prefer a more traditional, stately look.
We really value the artistic and cultural heritage of our gardens
and buildings here in the UK and around the world. As such,
we have sought to create a collection which preserves this
history for future generations. Through the years we have been
privileged enough to gain access to some wonderful pieces of
stonework which we have carefully restored. We have replicated
damaged stonework for many well-known clients, including
Embley Park, the home of Florence Nightingale and Hever
Castle, famous for Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. Our ability to
copy existing and damaged stonework has also rejuvenated
some of our most treasured spaces, such as the Temperate
House at Kew Gardens and Kensington Palace, the home of
Prince William and his family. Chilstone recently helped the
prestigious Hurlingham Private Members’ Club celebrate their
150th anniversary by replicating the Hurlingham Club Bowl
and Pedestal planter from their famous gardens. With kind
permission, we have been able to bring some of these admired
pieces into our Chilstone collection.
Keep an eye on our website and social media for the latest

Our stone weathers naturally with a surface that attracts moss
and lichen growth much like Portland stone. This aged patina,
prized by auction houses, can give our stonework a distinctly
vintage appearance. Our customers invest in Chilstone’s
products, knowing they may increase in value over time as
they age. This weathering process combined with our work on
restoration projects in the heritage sector makes our vintage
products sought after. We have a limited number of naturally
weathered products for sale in our vintage range, ask our staff
or browse our website for more details.
