DiCicco said. “What it really says for my wife
and I was that we didn’t bail on Sarasota and
leave this community. We worked through it
and turned it around. You learn from your
mistakes.”
DiCicco was running as a grassroots outsider, a
self-starter with business experience.
Among other digs, the website said “Perhaps
Frank could learn to handle his own money
before he seeks to handle taxpayer’s money.
(Hey Frank, you don’t cut costs by not paying
your bills.)”.
DiCicco considered a second run for the
District One seat held by Moran in 2020, but
the County’s 2019 redistricting put his
residence outside of District 1.
