Every new project that we design is always
sparked by a single idea that ignites into a big dream.
The dream could be inspired from a visit to a special
place and the memories and feelings from experiencing
it, or a simple need for more space to perform a
unique task better. Our WHOLE-VISION™ design process
transforms the tangle of big and small ideas, and the
many functional objectives, though an organized stepby-step process that refines and prioritizes each by its
importance, cost, and appropriateness to an optimized
and inspired outcome—the BIG IDEA!
The ‘Design Thinking’ spiral sets every idea on a course
of examination and testing that starts from a broad
high-level view. As the idea, or functional objective,
comes closer into view it reveals more information
because it’s now seen from above and below and from
more vantage points. Anywhere in the process, an idea
might be discarded or set aside because it no longer
fits. The ideas and functional objectives that are left
become more refined because they provide the largest
contribution to the final big idea. Seeing ever closer,
a previously discarded idea might now be seen as
valuable and brought back because its original intent
now supports the resulting final design or BIG IDEA.
