Part of this activity could be done at home. If this activity is given at home,
each pair/group will have to work individually or adapt how they work.

interview
1) In groups, students go to the Prepare your interview articles. Students
read the advice and make a ‘Do and Don’t at interview ’ poster. These
should be displayed in the school and/or a copy kept in their guidance
portfolio, for example.

2) Students will now take part in an interview individually. For this section,
students will need to record their answers with a device. Students need
to start recording (audio only is sufficient) and watch the video where
they are asked three questions by an employer. After each question,
there will be a pause for the students to answer.

Prepare your interview

please see p.14-16) (question 4 is to be done in pairs, therefore in class).

This is a follow-on activity which students can do on their own. The
Languages in My Life is an online activity which allows students to reflect
on the place of languages in their life (personal, studying and in their
future). During this activity, students will further their understanding of
the link between learning and using languages and developing key skills.
