New painting and decorating
company is launched by established
historic renovation firm
A new painting and decorating firm has been launched
by an established historic renovation company. Artisan
Painting & Decorating has been born from Artisan
Plastercraft.
The expert decorators can restore most internal surfaces
including walls, ceilings, doors and windows, plaster - both
modern and traditional, woodwork and metalwork.
Externally, they can restore and repaint building exteriors
including period limewash paint to lime render, masonry
painting, stucco, balustrade and pillars, woodwork and
window frames and wrought iron and exterior metalwork.
The professional decorating company provides highquality paint finishes, wallpapering, gilding and other
specialist techniques - and staff have already worked
on flagship projects at Shakespeare’s Globe theatre,
Claremont Club at the Savoy Hotel and Potters House
Church in Walthamstow.
Andrew, who has 38 years of painting and decorating
experience and a master’s degree in Historic Building
Conservation, said the company will have a synergy with
Artisan Plastercraft and may well work on a number
of the same projects as one another, but will also be a
standalone company.
Director Andrew Bradley said: “We are very excited for the
launch of Artisan Painting and Decorating.
“We have been pleased to be able to hit the ground running by
working on some incredible buildings and make a difference to
the look and feel of these public spaces.
“It was only natural to launch Artisan Painting and Decorating
because existing Artisan Plastercraft customers know and trust
the name and they wanted to be able to have the same
company work on all aspects of the project,” Andrew added.
“Our clients are both private individuals and main building
contractors - as well as everything in between - and it is such
a delight to get hands-on with each project.
“It is really in response to demand as we have the skills to do
both the decorative plastering work and the decoration that
follows, so now we will be able to.
“I really enjoy overseeing our skilled decorating workforce as
well as liaising with clients across multiple projects.”
“We pride ourselves on breathing new life into heritage
buildings and have worked on listed building redecoration
across the country, but our skills do not end there.
The company, based in Kent, has already worked on
projects across London and the South East and has a
number of upcoming contracts as well as extensive
enquiries.
“Whether it is a commercial or residential property, contemporary or heritage, our team of decorators are excited to start
working on the projects we have coming up.”
They work with each client to ensure the interior and
exterior decoration expresses the client’s personal style as
well as using colours, materials and styles in keeping with
the building’s heritage.
Artisan painting and decorating services are available to
clients throughout the British Isles. For more information
