in the space you created. Everyone was
overwhelmed at how beautiful the project
is and how comfortable the place feels. The
children were playing in the new pool, and we
were sitting under the stars feeling like we
could just move out there instead of living in
the house. The entire design not only fits into
our lives perfectly, but it also feels as if it was
a part of us. We feel that your design captures
the essence of how our family lives and is
exactly our casual design style. We opened
a special bottle of wine at the new table you
designed and toasted ORR Design’s brilliance.

About this project
An inspired modern renovation of a classic 1950’s California Ranch house. New connections
between the home and the landscape created an outdoor living paradise that includes a new
swimming pool, spa and outdoor dining and cooking area. A custom dining table and built-in
cooking center included durable concrete counters and tops from San Francisco’s famous
Buddy Rhodes Studio. Tile patio paving extends into the residence floors fusing
the relationship between interior and exterior living environments.
