Impact of Giving
The causes supported
in 2024 reflect the core
values of our University
Donations helped empower students through
the Augustus Short Scholarship, Indigenous
Support Fund, Student Emergency Fund, Peter
Waite Scholarship and the Barr Smith Library.
They also advanced crucial research into
motor neurone disease (MND), cancer,
endometriosis, diabetes, and wildlife crime.
Additionally, our community programs –
including the Elder Conservatorium’s Open
Music Academy, Children’s University,
Community Outreach Dental Program, Vet
Emergency Fund and the Waite Clubrooms
Redevelopment – benefited from the
outpouring of generosity.
