GENDERED DIGITAL HARM
Hate, abuse, and harassment have become more
normalized in our digital lives, and women are
disproportionately impacted.
Research suggests that 1 in 5 women experience
online harassment in Canada. Those from
marginalized communities, including people who
are Indigenous, Black, living with disabilities, and
2SLGBTQIA+, are more impacted.
Together, we are challenging digital harm,
advocating for change, and championing safety:

Technology can be used to stalk, harass, humiliate,

project, Challenging Gendered Digital Harm,

experiences of digital harm among women,
girls, and gender-diverse people with
intersecting identities, as well as gender
justice organizations and the public

Build awareness, skills, and knowledge with
mobile-friendly online training and tools
▶
Bring policymakers, technology decisionmakers, digital creators and experts, and
feminist and gender-justice organizations
together to work toward safer digital spaces
