opportunities between grantee partners to build their collective strength and advocacy initiatives to spark
systemic change.
In this way, the combined contributions of our supporters and partners help meet immediate needs of the
most vulnerable women, girls, and gender-diverse people in local communities and break down systemic
gendered barriers.
Keep in mind that you also support leadership development for women, girls, and gender-diverse people
because it is woven into everything we do at the Canadian Women’s Foundation. It is part of the criteria we
use to select grantee partners in the first place, and the capacity-building activities we facilitate with our
grantee partners focus on leadership development for their employee and volunteer teams.
