Alexandra Vase
Grand vase created from a lost
original. This vase is very unusual
in having different images on
the medallions on each side. It
was recreated from the historical
records for the restoration of
Avenham and Miller Parks,
Preston.
One side shows a classical
maiden, whilst the other shows a
cherub in a boat. The rim sports
trailing vines and the vase has
large ram’s heads handles

copy of an urn that is at least 156
years old, and once belonged
to Florence Nightingale’s father.
The original urn was restored
and replicated by Chilstone.
