Despite England passing the law of Deemed
Consent in 2020 (during the Covid Pandemic),
organ donation rates have reduced by five percent.
The Games is a great vehicle by which to further
stimulate a positive reaction to the benefits of organ
donation and transplantation and as an ongoing
Games legacy, Nottingham’s stakeholder organizations,
sponsors, partners and supporters, including the East
Midlands Chamber of Commerce, will be encouraged
to distribute up to 10,000 organ donor cards amongst
their membership groups over 2024.

of your organization/group stating the number
of cards required and a postal address.
