2. 400 people joined our International Women’s Day virtual event
to hear inspiring speakers talk about what it takes to boost
workplace equity.
1.
Ishwarya and Santhoshi launched their business, Saffron Chest,
to connect with their culture and bring South Asian jewelry to
the Canadian diaspora and beyond. Through October 2022, they
donated 10 per cent of sales to commemorate the festival of
Navratri and International Day of the Girl.
3. The International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring
Confederation (IWIRC) hosts annual events in Calgary,
Edmonton, Vancouver, and Winnipeg, and chose to support the
Foundation on International Women’s Day. Their spin classes
raised almost $10,000.
