This urn has been copied from the
original designed by William Kent
for the writer Alexander Pope’s
renowned garden at Twickenham.
Pope’s garden overlooking the
Thames was laid out over a period
of 25 years. It became one of the
most original contributions to garden
design ever made in this country.
Although usually bought together,
the Pope’s Urn C5200A and Pope’s
Pedestal C5200B can be purchased
separately.
The Pope’s Urn is often used as
a grand finial.
