Vital Signs
MK Community Foundation’s
Vital Signs report brings together
local data, insights from charities
and community groups, and real-life
experiences from those working on
the front lines. Designed to highlight
key challenges across Milton Keynes,
the report examines 12 vital sign
areas to better understand and
address community needs.

The Arthur Ellis Mental Health
Foundation is on a mission to
transform mental health support
in the UK, ensuring no one faces
struggles alone. It provides
quick, accessible 1:1 support
for individuals aged eight
and above while working with
schools, the NHS, businesses,
and charities to bridge service
gaps, particularly for the 250,000
young people who go unseen
each year. Beyond direct support,
it champions preventative
wellbeing activities to foster
healthier lifestyles and
stronger communities.
Recognising the power of connection, Arthur
Ellis launched the Wellbeing Summer Festival
in Milton Keynes. The free, inclusive event was
designed to promote mental and physical
wellness through 昀椀ve key behaviours: MOVE,
FOCUS, DISCOVER, COMMUNICATE, and HELP.
Thanks to funding from Great Linford Fund,
Parks Trust Fund, and Great Linford Waterside
Festival Fund through MK Community
Foundation, the team provided a vibrant day
of yoga, circus performances, table tennis,
mindfulness activities, and more.
Despite last-minute challenges – including a
football team pulling out and a scientist falling
ill – the festival was a resounding success,
bringing families together to experience the joy
of wellbeing. With a stronger network of partners,
Arthur Ellis is set to expand its initiatives in 2025,
ensuring even more families can access year-round
support and wellbeing-focused activities.
‘’Such a
lovely event.’’
