HOTEL
The Hyatt Regency Portland has been selected
as the conference venue, hosting all events
except for the opening and closing reception.
Its central location within the hotel's meeting
and conference area ensures easy access for
attendees. Transportation is facilitated by
TriMet's Red Line Max Train, with
complimentary HOP Cards provided to
registrants. Catering and event equipment will
be exclusively sourced from the hotel,
promising a streamlined experience.
Negotiations have secured staging and lighting
for main sessions at no extra cost. Currently, LIT
has reserved a room block from September
11th to the 15th, with an average of 70 rooms
per night, and is in the process of renegotiating
for additional rooms. The cut off date for
reservations is August 22, 2024. All meeting
spaces, including a large foyer area, will be
located on the hotel's second floor. Breakout
sessions will feature theatre seating, while main
sessions will adopt banquet seating with rounds
of 10.
